I guess that time really does have it's effects on everything, even on flags which while they represent so much do have their physical limits. It depends who the person speaking the words are and what the words themselves are. Sometimes if you spend your entire life not trusting people then you can waste your entire life, I know it's cliched but in a literal sense we only do live once. I still find what you're saying interesting though, it's got me thinking at the very least.
